MiG 31BM in 1/72 Scale by Eastern Express
The MiG 31 is the world's fastest operational fighter. Designed as a fighter interceptor, it was built to defend the swathe of landmass of the Russian federation. It can track targets up to 200 km and engage as far as 120 km using it's primary armament, the R-33 missile.
The kit came from Eastern express. At all cost, avoid this kit. It is poorly tooled, instructions are ambiguous, a lot of parts do not fit. You will spend a lot of time, sanding, cutting and fitting, rather than enjoy building the kit itself.
The kit with a light loadout of 2 R-33 missiles.
It was painted using Tamiya acrylics - light grey, German Grey, Titanium silver and black. It is weathered using Tamiya weathering master.
